“My whole life, I have been in trouble. I was offered opportunity after opportunity to do something with my life. Some big, some small but I said no to every one of them.

I missed the boat. I saw it and said, that's a nice boat and didn't even know it was my boat.

At 47, I have now seen several boats. Reluctantly, I have gotten on a few and as distraction presented itself, I got off faster than I got on.

Over the years, I questioned my potential. Had I deserted my purpose? I fell into a revolving door of cycles and found myself reexamining my potential and starting setting goals to become potential AF.

AF means always wanting to do better.

We may never arrive at our AF as goals change, talent is taken, dreams die but somewhere along our personal timeline, new opportunities arise.

A new opportunity has risen for me and with reluctancy still, I have finally said, yes!
